Khole Ke Hanuman Ji Temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman, is a prominent Hindu temple located on the Delhi-Jaipur Bypass, perched atop a hill. From this vantage point, devotees are treated to stunning panoramic views of the surrounding hills.
The name “Khole Ke Hanuman Ji Temple” derives from the word “Khola,” meaning “valley” in the local language, symbolizing “Hanuman of the Valley.”
Initially, the temple was a modest structure of about 100 square feet when it was first built. Over time, it expanded significantly and now can accommodate around 500 devotees at once.

In 1960, Pandit Radhe Lal Choubey constructed the Khole Ke Hanuman Ji Temple in Lakshman Dungri. Legend has it that Radhe Lal Ji discovered a rock with a carving of Lord Hanuman during an outing, which he took as a divine sign to build the temple. Some also associate this site with Narwar Das ki Khol, where Baba Nirmal Das spent much of his life worshipping Lord Hanuman centuries ago.

The architecture of Khole Ke Hanuman Ji Temple
The temple’s architecture is reminiscent of a Rajasthani or Rajput palace. Built from marble and pink sandstone, the two-story temple sits in Jaipur’s Lakshman Dungri hills. A flight of stairs leads to the grand entrance.
The temple grounds feature wide walkways, a parking lot, guest rooms, large dining halls, several lawns with stone benches, potted plants, and trees surrounding the entire structure.
At the centre of the temple is the sanctum sanctorum, resembling a palace, with the idol of Lord Hanuman mounted on a marble slab. The idol is positioned on a slant, with two rows of marble steps on either side.

The temple is located near Delhi Bypass Road, Jaipur, in the Lakshman Dungri hillside area, providing a beautiful view of the nearby hills. It is about 13 kilometres northeast of Jaipur’s city center.
There are three main routes to reach the temple: via Galta Road – NH 248, via Tonk Road – NH 248, and via Shanti Path – NH 248. Visitors can use personal vehicles, rental cabs, auto-rickshaws, tuk-tuks, or local buses for shorter distances.
Khole Ke Hanuman Ji Temple Entry Fee and Timings
The temple does not charge an entry fee. It is open every day, including weekends.
